Mumutane designs colourful, unique, decorative sofa cushions in a mix between African wax print cotton and leftover fabric from the Danish international company, Kvadrat.
African wax print fabric is printed on both sides and is characterised by clear colours, beautiful patterns and prints. African wax print fabric often has symbols, and the symbols have been used for many years to communicate stories, and worn by African women to show personality.
Our African wax print fabrics have been carefully selected by local business women in Africa to promote trade and economic living standards for local women.

Mumutane advocates both quality and sustainable design. For our sofa cushions and pillows, we therefore use residual textiles from Danish Kvadrat. The pillows include sewn in the heavy Hallingdal fabric and in the soft Haakon fabric (100% mohair), reminiscent of velor fabric.
"The most beautiful pillows and then it is also an exceptionally good quality, both sewing and stuffing are top notch." Tine, Interior Design and Graphic Design, Aarhus.
At the moment, the pillows are being sewn in Denmark, but it is the ambition of mumutane that more and more of our products must obtain work and promote local development.
The wash recommendation is 30 ° fine wash. There is a zip in the cushion cover so the inner cushion can be removed, aerated and washed. Read more about the high quality of the inner cushions and the company behind here.
