Seat cushions

Seat cushions

Mumutane's seat cushions give the classic shell chairs around the dining table a new colour and extra comfort. They are adapted, for example, to Arne Jacobsen's 7's chair and the classic Eames dining chair.

With the seat cushions, your dining chair is both upgraded to the current trend with personal and unique combinations of materials, colours and patterns and at the same time the seat cushion's three-layer material adds considerable comfort, so that the good times with family and friends can be extended around the dining table.

Mumutane's aim is to create products with meaning. That's why the materials are carefully selected. The modern, African and colourful textiles that adorn the front of the cushions are purchased from local traders in Africa. The back of the cushions are leftover textiles from Danish Kvadrat that give a good weight and texture to the cushion.

The cushions are produced in Denmark by social economy companies helping people on the edge of the labour market.

Materials:The front is made of wax print textiles purchased in small textile shops in West Africa. The back is made of surplus textiles from the Danish company, Kvadrat. The middle layer is currently batting, but we are working hard to find surplus materials of the right quality.

Measures 40 cm in diameter x 0.5 cm in height.

Mumutane is certified B Corporation - doing business for good!
